This, This is an easy 3.6km loop around Wyuna Canal in Warana, near Maroochydore. About 25km south of Brisbane, this park features 435 hectares of open eucalyptus forest. There are toilets on the walk and a beautiful park to have a picnic or you could nip into town and grab lunch at the local Tavern. It can get humid though with plenty of mozzies buzzing about! I hesitate to say that these are the 'top' nine walking trails and tracks on the Sunshine Coast as there really are so many to choose from, hence my decision to just call my article 'Nine Walking Trails and Tracks on the Sunshine Coast'. Some of the stranglers are incredibly huge and you can almost hide in their buttresses. Using New Farm Park as a starting point you can stroll along the riverside walk for 4km to reach Newstead House.
